The organization has got lots of remarkable achievements during the period of this establishment. Many more adults have been rehabilitated in various vocational jobs like livestock, cultivation, mechanical workshop, tailoring, candle and incense stick making and so on. Besides these some of them have got married life as well. Some of the examples have presented here among them.

A- MARRIED LIFE

History:
Mr. Narayan Pokhrel is a mild type of boy, inhabitant of remote village area in Rupandehi district. The family is depended on agriculture. We had found him in a very miserable situation years ago. Actually the parents were totally unknown for mental retardation and he was misbehaved in the family as well as in the neighborhood. He was known as a "Half Mind Boy" in the locality.

We trained him as aware the parents and neighborhood gradually through the home visit program.

At Present:
He has got vocational training of candle making and goat keeping as well as cultivating. He is very good on this job. He is professional on this job. He earns money by this.

On the other hand, we convinced the parents to get his marriage. Accordingly they searched a normal local girl and got formal marriage.

Now they have got a baby child. She look normal and okay. She is healthy. She is growing on quite normally. The couple has good co-operation and co-ordination as well as the parents.

They have life of dignity in the society as an example. The family and neighborhood are happy. Actually the whole organization family is very glad getting his successful life.

 

B- LIVESTOCK

Some adults are rehabilitated in the livestock. The both adults boys and girls are engaged on goat keeping basically.

Miss Pampha Gaire, Radha Khadka, Jamuna Pariyar, Laxmi Ghimire and many other adult girls have a daily job to take care for their goats. The adult boys Mr. Guru Dhakal and more take care of their goats very interestingly. They enjoy with their job. All the goats have getting numbers of babies. Actually, we provide them a goat first and they return its baby goat which we provide to others.

The relay project is spread widely. The adults are earning some selling goats at home. Goat is sold easily at home for meat. The adults manage their expenses by this for extra activities.

Secondly, we support the very poor family to raise their financial status in the possibilities. We also provide them vocational income generating trainings frequently.

The family of Samil Thapa have rehabilitated on pig keeping. We provided them two baby pigs and have supported to build-up its shed. Now they are happy and thank us. Specially, the mother takes care of their pig.

The mental retarded child Mr. Samil is autistic types of child. He moves anywhere he likes. Sometimes he gets lost.

Now a days his mother stays at home for both purpose, first is to take care him and secondly the pig. So, this program is very effective and popular.

C- CANDLE, INCENSE STICK & ENVELOPE MAKING

The adults have got good trainings in candle, incense-stick and envelope making at the center.

The adult Miss Rupa Atreya, Barsa Bhusal, Manoj Shrestha, Kanti Sherstha, Millen Maddesia, Bijaya K.C. and members of others can produce it themselves. The adults produce it and sell in the market.  There is no problem for marketing. The products get great sympathy and sold down easily in a reliable price.

We help them to get market. The candle and envelop are very market needs materials which give good encouragement.

Some of the parents have got this training and produce at home and sell it in a local market. The candle project is very effective among the village area where is no electricity.

D- ACHIEVEMENTS

The organization is renowned nationwide for its extra activities like sports, cultural programme and so on.

The players of this center have got first, second and other positions in the national game competitions last time in the competition organized by Special Education Council, some players got good position and a dancer named Rupa Atrey got the first position among all centers in Nepal.

Actually, the center organizes local and regional level Special Olympics frequently. The players have got good opportunity to develop their skills.

E-LOCAL PEOPLE INVOLVEMENT

Actually, it may be declared that it is a welfare center of local society. Although, the center was established by some parents with a tinny room but during the decade-long period it has its own building with required things.

There is a major role of this success of the local social workers, politicians and kind businessmen.

The center got its land for building construction and playing ground in a free of cost by the government on the all-round pressure of local good wishers. Secondly the local dinners donated to build up this building and arrange the requirements like teaching materials. The social workers donated remarkable amount for this establishment.

The people are serious still now for the regularity of this. As a result, some of them have been paying $100 every year and determined to pay for a long time. Besides these, the local people, they come to enjoy and celebrate festivals here. The local welfare clubs also help us by providing required materials.
